What to see
The Dascio Rock is an observation point in the Pian di Spagna Nature Reserve. It is located above the village of Dascio in the municipality of Sorico.
Perched high above the Mera River, the rocky spur rises to an altitude of 280 meters above sea level, overlooking Lake Mezzola, and is a destination for hikers and birdwatching enthusiasts. The expansive views from this elevation stretch from the mouth of Valchiavenna to the first stretch of Lake Como.
On its summit, a votive chapel was erected in the 1980s by the Alpine group of Sorico.

By car to the Dascio parking lot. A 10-minute walk uphill. Easy for everyone.
