The places of COLMO in Alto Lario
COLMO was born in Alto Lario, the northern shore of Lake Como, where the lake gets narrower and wilder. The blue stones with QR codes can be found along the lakefront — beaches, marinas, panoramic viewpoints — but also in historic villages, along CAI hiking trails climbing to the ridges, in front of places worth a stop that you often pass without knowing what they tell. Each card is the story of that place: what to look for, why it's worth pausing.
Active municipalities
Colico, Gera Lario, Sorico, Montemezzo, Vercana, Domaso, Gravedona, Dongo, all the way to Piona Abbey. Over 30 active spots in Alto Lario, plus a first one in Valtellina.
Partnerships
The project grows with the territory: we collaborate with CAI Dongo, CAI Colico, local Municipalities and Pro Loco for trails and points of interest, and with local entities to enrich every card with history and context.
