Things to do in Domaso
Domaso is one of the most livable places in Alto Lario: lake in front, mountains behind, and that “easy vacation” vibe that relaxes you. The Lungo Lago is the perfect promenade between small beaches, meadows, and open views of the water, with plenty of campsites and facilities where summer seems to last twice as long. From Domaso, you can hike along the old panoramic mule tracks, and in 15-20 minutes, you arrive at Pozzolo, in this small church with an exceptional panoramic view of the lake and Legnone, especially at sunset. Immersed in peace and tranquility. A hidden gem for the few.

On foot from Domaso (or directly by car, but that would be a shame), you ascend along the mule track that passes by Madonna della Neve and continues to Vercana until you reach the Church of San Sebastiano in Caino. Through vineyards, fountains, and charming little villages. Don't miss the small cemetery in Caino overlooking the lake. A place you will remember.

From Domaso, it takes 10 minutes on foot, passing over the old stone bridge. You then climb for 5 minutes along the mule track, which immediately offers stunning views of the lake and the mouth of the Adda River. A small tree-lined avenue leads you to the church and its panoramic forecourt. It takes you 10 minutes, and it's worth every second.
