During the summer, Gravedona comes alive with tourists and is rich in history and art: the Gallio Palace and the Romanesque Church of Santa Maria del Tiglio along the lakeside tell the story of the city's significant past. The wonderful panorama from Gravedona includes the Abbey of Piona and Mount Legnone on the opposite shore of the Lario.
