Iron, water, history. Here the ironworks forged centuries before April 27, 1945 wrote the final chapter of an era. Today the lakeside preserves the memory where industry has given way to silence, and Palazzo Manzi watches over piazza Parracchini as a witness to too many transitions. Dongo is not visited: it is crossed knowing that something has ended here.
